Pixacom: Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
Mandy Murphy: I was born in Altamonte, FL the first baby at that hospital born in the year 1988-I even got a T-shirt out of it! I grew up as an only child until the age of 14, overall I had a decent childhood.
Pixacom: What nationality are you?
Mandy Murphy: Irish, Italian and Scottish
Pixacom: What would the average person say about you?
Mandy Murphy: I have a big heart..I hear that the most.
Pixacom: What kind of stuff did you get into after high school?
Mandy Murphy: Modeling actually…I couldn’t imagine modeling in highschool, I was too much of a mess!
Pixacom: How did you get into modeling?
Mandy Murphy: Always wanted to be a model growing up, did a few oddball modeling gigs growing up, but gained more interest as my friends got into photography.
Pixacom: How long have you been modeling?
Mandy Murphy: Only about a year..a little under.
Pixacom: Have you done any Nude modeling?
Mandy Murphy: No, but I have definitely thought about it and considered it…the timing just hasn’t been right yet. I need to decide what I want to major in before I make that decision.
Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time?
Mandy Murphy: It was a little weird but I automatically felt comfortable. All I really did was smile…and my first shoot actually involved implied nudity!
Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photoshoot?
Mandy Murphy: Usually a little nervous if I haven’t met the photographer or the rest of the team, but as soon as I get there my nerves settle instantly.
Pixacom: So would you say you are comfortable now?
Mandy Murphy: Most definitely!
Pixacom: Would you say you are pretty comfortable with your body?

Pixacom: What do you do differently to set yourself apart from other models?
Mandy Murphy: I’m not a premadonna…I answer most of my emails, I interact with my “fans” and I’m not too full of myself like most girls involved in this industry.

Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you?
Mandy Murphy: I hope I can reach young girls and help them love themselves…it’s easy to have low self esteem growing up and I want to prove to people that you can have tattoos, a scar on your stomach and not be totally perfect to be a model…because I’m far from perfect…girls need to realize it’s not about perfection.
Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren’t doing a
photoshoot?
Mandy Murphy: Chilling on my back porch! I have a huge wrap out screened in porch with the most comfortable furniture, a radio and a bunch of flowers and plants…it always brightens my day, I love to relax. However, I do love flea markets and garage sales on weekends!
